Strawberry Kitchen

For this kitchen, we created a playful yet refined interior centred around a strawberry motif, with soft pink and pistachio tones running throughout the space. Entirely designed by our interior design team and crafted by our carpenters, every element was developed specifically for the project, from the cabinetry and finishes to the fabrics and patterns.

The strawberry motif becomes a recurring detail across the room. It appears on the wallpaper covering the ceiling and is repeated on the upholstered stools and chairs, creating a sense of continuity throughout the kitchen. At the centre, a large island anchors the space, finished with a strawberry-coloured lava stone countertop chosen for both its rich finish and exceptional durability. The island also doubles as an informal bar.

Storage was a key part of the design. As the owner is a passionate collector of chinaware, the kitchen was designed with generous cabinetry throughout, much of it finished with glass-fronted doors so that her collection can remain visible and become part of the decoration itself. A hidden pantry extends the storage further, with a glazed door allowing natural light to pass through and keeping the space feeling open and bright.

Alongside the main kitchen, a dedicated breakfast area introduces a more relaxed setting, with a built-in banquette and matching strawberry-upholstered chairs. The result is a kitchen that feels both highly functional and deeply personal: a space where bespoke craftsmanship, generous storage and playful decorative details come together around a theme carried through every surface
