WHIMSICAL SAGE NURSERY

Monkeys peer through banana palms, butterflies drift past tropical fronds, and hot air balloons float overhead in soft watercolour. This nursery is proof that a boy's room can be every bit as beautiful, layered, story-rich, and full of details that reward a curious eye.

The star piece is the wallpaper. A bespoke mural by a Swiss watercolour artist covers the main wall,  mint stripes chosen for their soothing quality, beneath a lush tropical landscape that begins in the hallway and draws you in before you even cross the threshold. Against it, the Oliver Furniture crib is dressed in sage linen with an embroidered monogram and a soft plush mobile overhead, beside a rattan lamp with an ikat shade. Hot air balloons hang from the ceiling at deliberately different heights, always staggered, always in movement.

A Montessori-inspired oak bookshelf brings independence to the storage corner, with pull-out rattan baskets and a curated library within reach of small hands, topped by four custom bobbin bead-framed Babar illustrations. A giraffe-embroidered nursing chair anchors the quiet corner for lullabies and late-night moments. The television, set within a matching bobbin bead frame, simply disappears into the wall. And a  custom hand-painted Babar height stick stands ready to mark every centimetre of the years ahead, a keepsake that will outlast the nursery itself.
