The Secrets Behind the Object

Algae vibrant with cool water and coral in sun-drenched, radiant hues compose the marine garden of the new Natures Marines tableware collection.

To create the motifs for the collection's 34 pieces, designer Katie Scott drew inspiration from 19th-century English botanical illustrations and the marine flora of the Welsh coast.

Along the embossed contours of the porcelain teapots, plates, and bowls, delicate and translucent branches layer and sway. The gold trim evokes the shimmer of sunbeams beneath the sea.
