Let's go Shopping in Paris: Maison & Objet 2024 Edition

Let's go Shopping in Paris: Maison & Objet 2024 Edition

For the past twenty years, the international design salon Maison & Objet in Paris has been marked in our calendar every January.

The fair is the occasion for all architects, interior designers and design lovers to discover all the novelties in terms of furniture, fabrics, lighting, rugs, tableware, accessories and more. Over the last years, the fair has spread beyond the walls of the Halls of Villepinte to the showrooms, shops and galleries in town.

In the tableware team, Sabrina, Carla, Karine & Sheima were pleased to discover the novelties at Lalique, Daum…

The highlight was the sumptuous installation of the new Hermes china collection “Tressage Equestre", with a impressive kinetic mechanical display, showcasing each dish as a piece of art in a sumptuous monastery.

From our Atelier department, Majorie and Alexandra were impressed with the new collections of Dedar with graphic velvets, and metallic embellished fabrics and the latest fabrics from Pierre Frey & Nobilis Rue du Maille. Their favorite stop was the candy shop of tassels and trimmings: Samuel & Sons !

They also joined Sabrina and her daughters for the most exciting meeting of the Salon, the samples approval for their new outdoor Collection with Dedar, coming out in the Spring.

Manola also came to find new toy and kids suppliers. Wigimama, a Polish manufacturer of junior upholstered furniture, including the cutest bear ottomans caught her eye. Another hit were the most elegant play cars: Play Forever. Finally, with her sister she got to know the eccentric Japanese founder of Kikko & GG and play around with her recording machine or super retro telephones !

Just before hoping back our flight, Sabrina & Manola stopped by the Maxalto showroom and loved their new cosy sofas & artistic coffee tables.
